3Three Jeeps climb Lions Back?

I wish I had known this was going on and could have been a part of it. This video is the next best thing to see what  we’re all missing out on. -Mr KrawlZone

lionsback02From the Jeep Youtube video description —

“Closed since 2004, Lion’s Back is one of the most legendary obstacles in Moab. For the 75th anniversary of the Jeep brand and the 50th Easter Jeep Safari, the first and only 2-door JK Wrangler, and 4-door JK Wrangler Unlimited and a WK Grand Cherokee made history and took a rare opportunity to tackle this monumental climb.

For more than 70 years, the Jeep name has been indelibly associated with freedom, authenticity, adventure and passion. These are vehicles for “dreamers and doers” – forging extraordinary, uncommon bonds between themselves and their owners, because adventure is found in every Jeep vehicle’s DNA. The Jeep badge stands for more than a brand. In truth, it’s a badge of honor. If you have questions about our products or would like to contact Jeep directly, please use the “Contact Us” option from our website: www.jeep.com.”

The lions back in Moab has been closed for many years because of the hazardous conditions the trail poses and the number of accidents and near misses for many an off roader who dared tackle this climb. It is a steep accent after which drivers need to make a complete 180 degree turn around atop the narrow sliver of slick rock that portruded 350 feet above the sandy valley floor.
